Jesus Rejoices in the Father's Will
21 In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.[b] 22 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

3 Some P’rushim came and tried to trap him by asking, “Is it permitted for a man to divorce his wife on any ground whatever?” 4 He replied, “Haven’t you read that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female,[a] 5 and that he said, ‘For this reason a man should leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two are to become one flesh’?[b] 6 Thus they are no longer two, but one. So then, no one should split apart what God has joined together.”
7 They said to him, “Then why did Moshe give the commandment that a man should hand his wife a get and divorce her?”[c] 8 He answered, “Moshe allowed you to divorce your wives because your hearts are so hardened. But this is not how it was at the beginning. 9 Now what I say to you is that whoever divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery!”
10 The talmidim said to him, “If that is how things are between husband and wife, it would be better not to marry!” 11 He said to them, “Not everyone grasps this teaching, only those for whom it is meant. 12 For there are different reasons why men do not marry — some because they were born without the desire, some because they have been castrated, and some because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever can grasp this, let him do so.”
ObservationI praise GOD for who HE is, for GOD reveals things to the child like, to the humble, to those whose Spirits are poor, the broken, the needy. I praise GOD because HE is faithful, even though HE disciplines me with pain, it is so that I could receive more from HIM, because if I am not equipped to receive and be entrusted with HIS blessings, HE will not give anything to me because HE is protecting me from myself and from my own ruin. How great GOD is that HE does not force HIMSELF on people yet HE enables us to obey when we surrender everything to HIM, HE gives us the power when we let the HOLY SPIRIT fill us.
ApplicationI am so grateful for who GOD is, I am so grateful that HE is so faithful and true and that I can rely on HIS goodness and kindness. I can rely on HIM, HE is the ONE I can depend on, not a husband or my present family but HIM and HIM alone. I praise GOD that I can always be myself with HIM and be weak before HIM because HE is strong within me. I do not have to be strong because HE is the ONE who is strong. If I rely on other things to secure and protect me, I will be very disappointed. But GOD is always proving HIMSELF to me and I pray that HE will give me the right heart and make the right person to love an imperfect man and be a wife to an imperfect husband. I pray HE will transform me to be whoever HE wants me to be.
PrayersDear AVI,HOLY is YOUR Name O GOD, Great are YOU O GOD! My heart is open before YOU and I am so thankful for everyday that I am with YOU and YOUR love surrounds me. Comfort heal and deliver Sandro Muhlach from his sexual abuse and use him for YOUR Kingdom and purpose. I pray for Kyle, Arlene, Rey, Hart to be drawn closer to YOU, and to rely on YOU for provision and security and to obey YOU O GOD whatever YOU want them to do. I pray for YOUR Grace upon everything I do, all my thoughts, all my heart, all that I am, I offer to YOU, let me be a living sacrifice, doing YOUR will and pleasing YOU, I pray that my heart and my mind and body is completely YOURS and YOU do whatever YOU want with me, filling with joy and power and I pray that everyone around me will also be drawn to love and follow YOU truthfully and worship YOU in spirit and in truth. Bless this Sunday today as we worship YOU O GOD send a revival in YOUR church and answer every prayer in our heart. I pray that Eleasar Ramil will not only pass the bar exam but that YOU reveal YOURSELF to him and that he will be a born again of the Spirit. I pray that YOU encounter Stephen Yu, Benita Yu, Eleasar Ramil and his family, Mitchel and Kim Yu, Lucio Yu Jr and Grace Yu and her husband I pray that YOU will all draw them to YOU O GOD. O GOD becuase this is what YOU have put in my heart to pray, I pray without making to a burden because this is YOUR Burden O GOD not mine. O GOD, I have written my prayers because it is more powerful when it is written and I pray that YOU hear them all and give me a cause to rejoice for always anwering my prayers. I pray that YOU mature Deric my brother to be more responsible in the business and in work. Do not let him be complacent and irresponsible O GOD. I pray for YOUR grace upon Dorothy my sister that she will be happy again even in her trials and challenge. I pray that everyone will always cling to YOU for all things! That YOU continue to deal with the proud and humble those that are proud O GOD. I thank YOU O GOD, I pray that YOU take over my mind, body and heart and live through me. I am no longer my own but YOURS O GOD so have YOUR way and be glorified in me and through me. For YOU deserve all the glory, power, honor and praise!
