Ruth 3 Ruth acts according to her mother in laws command

Ruth and Boaz at the Threshing Floor
1 Then Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, “My daughter, should I not seek rest for you, that it may be well with you? 2 Is not Boaz our relative, with whose young women you were? See, he is winnowing barley tonight at the threshing floor. 3 Wash therefore and anoint yourself, and put on your cloak and go down to the threshing floor, but do not make yourself known to the man until he has finished eating and drinking. 4 But when he lies down, observe the place where he lies. Then go and uncover his feet and lie down, and he will tell you what to do.” 5 And she replied, “All that you say I will do.”
6 So she went down to the threshing floor and did just as her mother-in-law had commanded her. 7 And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of grain. Then she came softly and uncovered his feet and lay down. 8 At midnight the man was startled and turned over, and behold, a woman lay at his feet! 9 He said, “Who are you?” And she answered, “I am Ruth, your servant. Spread your wings[a] over your servant, for you are a redeemer.” 10 And he said, “May you be blessed by the Lord, my daughter. You have made this last kindness greater than the first in that you have not gone after young men, whether poor or rich. 11 And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you ask, for all my fellow townsmen know that you are a worthy woman. 12 And now it is true that I am a redeemer. Yet there is a redeemer nearer than I. 13 Remain tonight, and in the morning, if he will redeem you, good; let him do it. But if he is not willing to redeem you, then, as the Lord lives, I will redeem you. Lie down until the morning.”
14 So she lay at his feet until the morning, but arose before one could recognize another. And he said, “Let it not be known that the woman came to the threshing floor.” 15 And he said, “Bring the garment you are wearing and hold it out.” So she held it, and he measured out six measures of barley and put it on her. Then she went into the city. 16 And when she came to her mother-in-law, she said, “How did you fare, my daughter?” Then she told her all that the man had done for her, 17 saying, “These six measures of barley he gave to me, for he said to me, ‘You must not go back empty-handed to your mother-in-law.’” 18 She replied, “Wait, my daughter, until you learn how the matter turns out, for the man will not rest but will settle the matter today.”
ObservationStephen preaches the WORD of GOD to the people around him, he is focused on proclaiming GOD's story, while in the book of Ruth, Ruth acts according to the instruction of her mother in law. I pray someone will love me so much they will instruct me to do what Naomi instructed Ruth, and so many people already instructed me, Teacher Liz, Papa Joe, Pastor Jonah, but I could not do it because it's not yet time, we are both not ready for the a relationship. We still have so many problems to solve, my observation is that he does not feel the same way.
ApplicationIf GOD wants me to say something to Stephen, HE will instruct me... HE will give me the grace and the Spirit to do it because it's not by my might or power that I am able to do what HE wants me to do but always by HIS Spirit. Still I praise GOD that today, I do not feel sad anymore about the Promise of GOD being very far from the reality of today. I praise GOD I do not feel despairing pain, I praise GOD, that I do not feel desire for Stephen as I did before. I praise GOD how HE has answered my prayer to guard my heart. I have to keep trusting GOD for HIS Promise to be a reality regardless of what I see now because HE always says NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE with HIM.
PrayersDear AVI,O GREAT AND WONDERFUL GOD! I come to YOU pleading for the life of Wilson, Jerson and the people who are sick right now. I pray that YOU will protect us O GOD from the evil one and I pray that Wilson will be healed from that snake bite and that YOU will give him a new perspective in life. I pray O GOD, preserve the lives of the people who are needing YOUR healing touch and I pray that YOU save Jerson from the evil that has bound him. I pray that YOU will bring him into YOUR kingdom. I pray that YOUR Grace will see us through, I pray that YOU will save Stephen and his mom Benita and that YOU will continue to knock on the door of their hearts. I pray that YOU will not allow them to be unsaved oh GOD because YOU always answer my prayer because I am abiding in YOU, YOU PROMISED that whatever I ask YOU will answer YES and AMEN because I am abiding in YOU, I am ONE with YOU O GOD so I pray ABBA, continue to make me joyful in YOU and resting in YOUR Promise, not thinking about anything that will make me worry but I pray that YOU resolve to transfer my Mom's TIN to Mandaue without us having to pay for anything anymore. I pray that YOU will grant us this miracle O GOD. I pray O GOD take care of us... Take care of everything that my mom plans to do, I pray she will not take the land filled with squatters but that YOU will touch her heart to take the land without squatters so that we won't have to spend so much... I pray O GOD have YOUR way in us. Please GOD send angels to Wilson and minister to him and his son.
