1st day of the Hebrew Month of Av





Here and Now:
I slept late last night and woke up really early! Oh wow! I did ask the LORD to make me quicken my Spirit, mind soul and body and whew! How HE answered my prayers! But also there are things at work that is making me think to arrive at the right decision. I can have human information and use reasoning, but I would rather be led by GOD. So today I am trying to decipher what GOD is saying regarding the BIR matter that I am trying to solve.

26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the burning fiery furnace; he declared, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out from the fire. 27 And the satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king's counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had not had any power over the bodies of those men. The hair of their heads was not singed, their cloaks were not harmed, and no smell of fire had come upon them. 28 Nebuchadnezzar answered and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, and set aside[f] the king's command, and yielded up their bodies rather than serve and worship any god except their own God. 29 Therefore I make a decree: Any people, nation, or language that speaks anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be torn limb from limb, and their houses laid in ruins, for there is no other god who is able to rescue in this way.” 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.

The Reign of the Lord's Anointed

1 Why do the nations rage[a]    and the peoples plot in vain? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves,    and the rulers take counsel together,    against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us burst their bonds apart    and cast away their cords from us.”

4 He who sits in the heavens laughs;    the Lord holds them in derision. 5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath,    and terrify them in his fury, saying, 6 “As for me, I have set my King    on Zion, my holy hill.”

Sacrifices Pleasing to God

1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. 3 Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. 4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. 5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper;    I will not fear; what can man do to me?”

Observation

In Daniel 3, Shadrach Meshach and Abednego did not bow down to the golden image, a symbol of power and money set up by the Persian King. In Psalm 2, GOD talks about setting up a righteous King in Zion (GOD's holy mountain), this King does great things and defeats all his enemies dashing them to small pieces because he takes refuge in GOD, the Son, this King kisses the Son of GOD JESUS. In Hebrews, GOD instructs us not to love money, to be free from loving money, to be content with what GOD has already given us, because HE always supplies what we need, man can do nothing is GOD is my help and shield.
 ApplicationI will not be afraid of power if they threaten me or intimidate me. I will trust in GOD to move me to the right direction in dealing with BIR 081, we are writing a letter asking the RDO to take away the surcharges imposed at us for paying at the wrong BIR venue. But since the letter is written by our lawyer Stephen, the letter is very intellectual and might be intimidating. So I am going to ask counsel from others and do my investigation regarding the RDO of 081 at the same time GOD is also telling me not to be afraid of the people in authority who threaten me just as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are being threatened by the king. If the letter meant us saying no we will not bow down then so be it, and we will suffer whatever consequences they might impose at us and usually that consequences is just related to money and since GOD is telling us in Hebrew to not love money, then we should just learn to let go of money even if they go to taxes. At the same time that I am ready for this act, I am thinking of my mom's reaction because her faith and belief system regarding tax is different from mine. So I will have to talk to her about this so that she is aware that we are going to be examined or audited with this final move.

PrayersDear AVI,HOLY are YOU O GOD Almighty! Great is YOUR Name!!! So many things disturb me in this home, so many things threaten to rob my peace, the dogs barking at the background, the unfinished and unorganized accounting we have at the office, so much work to do, but thank YOU for drawing a line regarding the foundation for me, that I will not be part of it and I will focus on what YOU have assigned me to do in the Accounting and the Family Corporation. I praise YOU O GOD, that YOU have sent me counselors to help me to think and decide what I should be doing with my life. Thank YOU for Tita Ge and Ming gay, thank YOU for YOUR Love O GOD, thank YOU for YOUR grace upon my life, thank YOU for the love of GOD's people surrounding me, last night I enjoyed time with them during Pipoy's Birthday. Thank YOU for YOUR grace O GOD! I pray O GOD, let YOUR Kingdom come and let YOUR Will be done. I am asking YOU for more signs and confirmation regarding the letter. Please give me a sign in the physical that I will send that letter today or not. Let Anacel give me the right counsel and someone else who can tell me about the RDO of BIR081. Thank YOU O GOD for all the people YOU have sent to help me O GOD. Thank YOU for YOUR grace.

Event The Meeting in the afternoon Here and Now I feel disappointed over Stephen's reaction to our text message yesterday but I just set it aside because I have already decided to let him go as a future mate but not as our lawyer. I still expect him to perform his best as our lawyer. I had weird dreams last night, mostly about work but it's okay because in the first part of my dream I saw myself rescuing my parents from the power of evil.
