Here and Now:

I am joyful, there is joy in my heart because I feel the victory of GOD and HE lets me see the things that the enemy has been keeping from me. Doubt indeed blinds us when we chose to see the waves of the ocean we are walking on but my experience with GOD this week during the prayer and fast was like JESUS taking my hand as I sank under the sea, telling me O my little child, why is your faith little? Do not doubt, I got you my dove, my princess, my love! GOD is very affectionate with me because he is such an endearing FATHER just as I am endearing to my dogs GOD says HE is feels more for me and HIS love overwhelms when I see HIM. Indeed GOD has opened the eyes of my heart once again!

The Faith of a Canaanite Woman

21 And Jesus went away from there and withdrew to the district of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon.” 23 But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away, for she is crying out after us.” 24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” 25 But she came and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, help me.” 26 And he answered, “It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.” 27 She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table.” 28 Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.[e]

Observation

Out of all the chapters that I read this morning, this verse in Matthew 15 always speaks to me even before because this woman compares herself to a dog (That speaks of how humble she is before GOD) that she did not take offense when the LORD JESUS at first turned her away saying I was not sent to gentiles but to Israel only. But she persisted in her pleas, knelt before HIM saying LORD help me and for the second time tells her such hurtful words when HE said It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to dogs, but she in her desperate did not mind taking those words from GOD because she understood her place, her need was greater than any pride and this is what made her receive her miracle. Persistence and humility! JESUS was so surprised at her persistence and humility that HE could not turn her away anymore, but praised her saying YOUR FAITH is great!!! You have what you asked!

WOW!!!! Reading this again amazes me today because I can't believe GOD was so harsh to her! But I believe, GOD loved her from the very beginning GOD knew her heart, her humility, her persistence and GOD wanted to showcase her to the world and the only way to do that is to turn her away (as if) neglecting her needs for the first and second time. 

Application

I am so encouraged to realize that when GOD gives you a hard time, it is because HE wants to showcase you to the world because HE is proud of you. HE wants people to be like you because your faith indeed pleases GOD! I feel like GOD has been so hard on me when the many promises I held on to for years never seemed to come to pass and today even though I hold on to a new revelation of HIS promise, I still feel it is a hard process of going uphill and I had to muster all my strength to just to believe what HE told me and today I believe in my heart that HE is telling me "YOUR Faith is great, it will as you asked!"

The one thing I asked JESUS among all the prayers I have prayed is that Stephen will receive the Spirit of GOD and arise take his place in GOD's Kingdom, to not only be a follower of JESUS but to love JESUS and to be passionate about HIM like me! I prayed for all his family to enter into GOD's Kingdom for it is written in Ecclesiastes 3:11 GOD has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, HE has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. I also prayed for him to love me back because GOD put in me a love for him surprisingly. But all these things will follow once HE receives the Spirit of the Living GOD, and this is what it truly means to be born again because one becomes a new person after being baptized by the HOLY GHOST Power!!!

Prayers

Dear FATHER,

O GREAT I AM, O HOLY ONE of Israel! O GOD, please no more testing, do not be hard on me anymore but give me what I have asked according to YOUR Promise! Thank YOU JESUS for answering all my prayers and even more what I have asked or imagine because YOU are faithful and true and THERE IS NO ONE in Heaven or Earth like YOU! I feel YOU all around me O GOD, giving me joy and gladness!!! Surrounding me with YOUR Sounds of Victory and a Spirit of praise within me! O GLORY to YOUR Name!!! KING JESUS!!!
