Here and Now

Location: Stephen Gaisano's home in CDO

We traveled by Trans Asia Boat slept in a Cabin the whole night just to get to the Gaisano's that Diko wanted to visit because Stephen's wife is one of her bestfriends. I voluntered to come because I have heard a lot about Uncle Stephen and his kindness towards the people who are sick in his classmates. I was curious about him and his family. And because his name has been close to my heart, I wanted to know this ahya of my friend's Dad who is known to be generous and kind inspite of him being the son of a rich family. While I slept in the boat last night I dreamt of the person whose same name was close to my heart, he was so close to me last night it felt like we were about to be one but I prayed for my flesh not to go ahead of GOD's time. I want to wait everything to happen beautifully in HIS time.

Jeremiah 1

9 Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me,

“Behold, I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.”

11 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see an almond[a] branch.” 12 Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.”

Ecclesiastes 4

9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! 11 Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? 12 And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Matthew 16

15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock[b] I will build my church, and the gates of hell[c] shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed[d] in heaven.”

24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life[g] will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. 28 Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

Observation

GOD is ready to perform HIS promises to me! How exciting!!! I am so excited!!! Really and truly I am so excited to read this word at 9AM in the guest house of the good Gaisano here in Cagayan de Oro. GOD has promised me a husband and HE is watching over HIS word because HE is ready to act on it! How wonderful it is to hear this today??? Even though I did not have enough sleep last night. Because the other chapter is confirming what GOD has promised me in Ecclesiastes 4:9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. GOD is about to give me not only a spouse or a mate but someone whom we can work together for a better return. When we follow JESUS like Peter who truly see JESUS as GOD and LORD of our life, HE gives us the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven that whatever we say on earth, we bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven and we are given the power to do anything we declare in the Heavens to be done on earth. Just as Jeremiah was chosen to be the mouthpiece of GOD who is given authority to destroy or build whatever he says will happen.

Application

Our Authority and power to destroy or build does not come from our own might and righteousness or standing with GOD but it comes from fully believing who JESUS is and following every WORD that comes from HIS mouth. When we are obedient to GOD, we become one with HIM, our heart aligns with HIS heart. We gain power in obedience and in being one with GOD by abiding in HIM. To abide is to be one with GOD, understand HIS heart, and desire HIS will so that when we pray and anything we ask for in prayer is in accordance with HIS will and it shall be done.

Prayers

Dear AVI,

HOLY and Great I AM LORD of Heaven and Earth, LORD over my life and ruler over my heart KING JESUS. I believe O GOD that I am one with YOU, after 42 years of my life on earth, I believe that I have begun to desire YOUR will for me when I let go of my own dreams, when I laid my desires down at YOUR feet and denied myself to follow YOUR will for me. Only was I able to receive the correct revelations of what YOU want to happen in my life. YOUR plan was slowly unfolding when I let go of my will for myself and let YOUR will be made known in my heart. I thank YOU for allowing me to die for myself, waiting for me to surrendering everything to YOU until I am ready to receive YOUR will for me. Thank YOU for entrusting to me what YOUR plan is for my life, thank YOU for letting me know even though in the past I failed to handle YOUR revelations to me. O GOD Almighty, I give back these revelations to YOU, I give back my desires to YOU because I do not want anything more than YOU, and what YOU want for me. Thank YOU for partnering with me to intercede for the things YOU want to happen in my life and in my future spouse. Thank YOU AVI, continue to let YOUR HOLY SPIRIT speak to me and my husband Stephen Yu whom YOU have chosen for me. Continue to let YOURSELF be made known to us, continue to reveal YOURSELF even to Mom Benita and all his loved ones. Fill us with the Ruach Hakodesh O GOD and let YOUR will be done in us each and everyday. O GOD, bless everything that we do, and we entrust everything YOU put in our hands into YOUR care because YOU care for us more than we care for ourselves. O GOD be glorified in our lives and continue to speak in our hearts.
