The Value of Wisdom

1 My son, if you receive my words    and treasure up my commandments with you, 2 making your ear attentive to wisdom    and inclining your heart to understanding; 3 yes, if you call out for insight    and raise your voice for understanding, 4 if you seek it like silver    and search for it as for hidden treasures, 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord    and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom;    from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; 7 he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, 8 guarding the paths of justice    and watching over the way of his saints. 9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice    and equity, every good path; 10 for wisdom will come into your heart,    and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; 11 discretion will watch over you,    understanding will guard you, 12 delivering you from the way of evil,    from men of perverted speech, 13 who forsake the paths of uprightness    to walk in the ways of darkness, 14 who rejoice in doing evil    and delight in the perverseness of evil, 15 men whose paths are crooked,    and who are devious in their ways.

16 So you will be delivered from the forbidden[a] woman,    from the adulteress[b] with her smooth words, 17 who forsakes the companion of her youth    and forgets the covenant of her God; 18 for her house sinks down to death,    and her paths to the departed;[c] 19 none who go to her come back,    nor do they regain the paths of life.

20 So you will walk in the way of the good    and keep to the paths of the righteous. 21 For the upright will inhabit the land,    and those with integrity will remain in it, 22 but the wicked will be cut off from the land,    and the treacherous will be rooted out of it.

All Scripture Is Breathed Out by God

10 You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, 11 my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra—which persecutions I endured; yet from them all the Lord rescued me. 12 Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom[a] you learned it 15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God[b] may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Observation

Fearing GOD is the beginning of acquiring wisdom because GOD Himself is the ONE who gives wisdom to people. HE is the Judge, HE gives rewards and punishments to both the righteous and the wicked. HE is a shield! Wow! How I love this description of GOD, a shield! A protection to those who walk uprightly, who chose to do what is right, because HE guards the path of justice watching over the way of HIS Saints. This is the first time I can correlate Proverbs with the New Covenant. Saints I thought are only mentioned in the New Testament, but the Saints are those that truly and faithfully fear GOD. To fear GOD is to know GOD, and to know HIM is to read HIM through HIS WORD the BIBLE - the sacred writings as what Paul describes to Timothy, because all scripture is breathed out by GOD's Spirit Himself, profitable for every human being who wants to live out a successful life on earth that will make any man of GOD complete.

Application

I chose to fear GOD everyday, even though I am disappointed with how GOD is allowing me to feel so sad and weary from all the troubles I go through in life, I chose to fear GOD, I chose to still walk in HIS Ways, I chose to still keep myself with a pure heart, I chose to still love HIM because I am hopeless and helpless on my own. I know for sure I will never survive this world without GOD in my life. But to be wise all throughout our life is to breath in GOD through the Spirit that HE breathed out in HIS WORD, everytime we read the WORDs of GOD, we breath in life because we breath in HIS Spirit, all nourishment in our body comes to life when we not only read HIS WORD but when we apply them, we are able to live fully and become complete. 

Prayers

Dear AVI My Father,

HOLY HOLY HOLY are YOU O LORD GOD Almighty! YOU are full of mercy and justice at the same time. O GOD who rules Heaven and Earth, rule over me and Stephen, the One whom my soul loves at the moment. I don't know why I feel something for him but I am relieved that I have not seen him last week because I felt it has brought rest from my heart from being broken. I feel sad every time we part ways because I wanted to be with him more, and he doesn't give me any more time, I don't understand the whole point of me having these feelings for him if he doesn't feel the same way. But I still pray and ask that YOU speak to Stephen Yu, let him hunger and thirst for YOUR WORDS, the breath of life, let him seek YOU O GOD, stir up his heart to know YOU, awaken his spirit to an unrest where his rest can only be found in knowing and understand YOU and YOUR Ways. Because he is dead in his spirit and this is why I cry every time I see him because the man I love is still dead, awaken Stephen LORD JESUS and I pray that YOU will preserve him for me if he truly is the One for me, awaken him to know YOU and love YOU obey YOU and walk with YOU, so that we can walk together following YOU. I need a husband O GOD, please provide a man that lives in JESUS!!!! I'm sick and tired of all my issues, in my life, I need someone who cares for me and what I care for for YOU deserve all my praises and adoration and worship! YOU deserve my best! So thank YOU for giving me only the best!
