Proverbs 29
English Standard Version

1 He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.
2 When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.
3 He who loves wisdom makes his father glad, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.
4 By justice a king builds up the land, but he who exacts gifts[a] tears it down.
5 A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his feet.
6 An evil man is ensnared in his transgression, but a righteous man sings and rejoices.
7 A righteous man knows the rights of the poor; a wicked man does not understand such knowledge.
8 Scoffers set a city aflame, but the wise turn away wrath.
9 If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs, and there is no quiet. 

10 Bloodthirsty men hate one who is blameless and seek the life of the upright.[b]
11 A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.
12 If a ruler listens to falsehood, all his officials will be wicked.
13 The poor man and the oppressor meet together; the Lord gives light to the eyes of both.
14 If a king faithfully judges the poor, his throne will be established forever.
15 The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.
16 When the wicked increase, transgression increases, but the righteous will look upon their downfall.

17 Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your heart.

18 Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint,[c] but blessed is he who keeps the law.
19 By mere words a servant is not disciplined, for though he understands, he will not respond.
20 Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
21 Whoever pampers his servant from childhood will in the end find him his heir.[d]
22 A man of wrath stirs up strife, and one given to anger causes much transgression.
23 One's pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.
24 The partner of a thief hates his own life; he hears the curse, but discloses nothing.
25 The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.
26 Many seek the face of a ruler, but it is from the Lord that a man gets justice.
27 An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, but one whose way is straight is an abomination to the wicked.


Matthew 6:19-24

Lay Up Treasures in Heaven
19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust[a] destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Observation

When a man truly fears GOD, they begin to do what is right, and walk in righteousness because they know there is a GOD who is just who executes justice every moment on earth. But our motivation to do right should just be more than out of reverence or fear of GOD, it should come from a deep love of GOD because when we love someone, we emulate them, we become like them because we love them. And so GOD commands HIS children to be holy because HE is holy, we cannot stay the same way if we truly love the LORD, we become more and more like JESUS because of our love for him.

Application

When we do what is right, when we make sure we walk in obedience to GOD's commands and follow HIS ways, we are not just making GOD happy, we are what Matthew writes in the New Covenant as "laying up treasures in heaven" There is so many opportunities to get ahead in the world in an unrighteous way, there is so many ways we can make money and through unjust means, just to make our lives on earth more comfortable but this is detestable to GOD. There are so much temptations to put ourselves first and relieve our lives from hardships such as not paying the right taxes, false weighing scales to cheat customers to paying more than what they are getting. There is so many ways to get rich quick instead of going about the process that GOD lets us go through because HE doesn't want us to fail in the tests of life because in the end of our lives, we are judged according to what we have done on earth and we will inherit richly if we chose to obey GOD more than obey our sinful nature. So this is my call to action: I will endure, I will persevere, I chose to keep following JESUS.

Prayers
Dear AVI,

HOLY are YOU O LORD GOD KING of the Universe, JESUS Adonai Tzeva'ot who was and is and is to come. YOU reign forever in majesty and power, though people do not see YOU it doesn't mean YOU are not there and I pray for those who are not living fully in the fear of YOU O GOD that YOU will cause them to see that YOU cannot be mocked, that YOU are a HOLY GOD! I pray O GOD that YOU deal with the proud continually, and those who are feeling so entitled, those who are always complaining. Forgive me because I was like that, but I want to be pure and holy like YOU so help me GOD. I pray for Stephen who is righteousness, but he does not know YOU, I pray that YOU reveal YOURSELF to him O GOD and let him experience YOU in a most profound way. I pray that YOU will enable him to surrender to YOU and to follow JESUS because I still have these feelings for him and I want to use these feelings to pray for him. Help me to understand how to speak to his heart and his spirit I pray that YOU will break down the walls of his heart and put me there! I pray for his mom Benita to love YOU and seek YOU and find YOU. O GOD I continue to pray for their salvation and healing because they are a good family but they cannot enter YOUR kingdom without JESUS and so they need YOU KING JESUS to rule over them and be their KING. I pray O GOD for Dad and Mom to fully obey YOU in their hearts and live in righteousness. I feel ashamed that my parents cannot shine their lights to people who are living more right than them but do not claim to follow YOU. I pray O GOD have YOUR Way in their lives for YOURS is the Kingdom and the Glory and Honor Forever and ever! YOU deserve our utmost worship by living and doing what is right. Help us O GOD even Dean and Denesse to be humble and to walk in righteousness before YOU. Help us all O GOD. Thank YOU for my godly husband whom YOU have already prepared for me, please take care of him and preserve him for me and that his family will love me and embrace me, prepare them LORD to have me. O GOD thank YOU that YOU have not forgotten me but YOU are working out for me a wonderful miracle just as YOU have done for David and Kim. Thank YOU for YOUR peace and grace today to accomplish all the work I need to do and for the accounting system and accounting person that I can find to help me in our business. Thank YOU O GOD for providing everything I need even a training school to learn accounting because I want to study this field because of our need. Please O GOD help me. Be with me and let me live in joy and love of YOU.
