Proverbs 10

English Standard Version
The Proverbs of Solomon

1 The proverbs of Solomon.
A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is a sorrow to his mother.
2 Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.
3 The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.
4 A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.
5 He who gathers in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps in harvest is a son who brings shame.
6 Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
7 The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot.
8 The wise of heart will receive commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.
9 Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.
10 Whoever winks the eye causes trouble, and a babbling fool will come to ruin.
11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
12 Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.
13 On the lips of him who has understanding, wisdom is found, but a rod is for the back of him who lacks sense.
14 The wise lay up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool brings ruin near.
15 A rich man's wealth is his strong city; the poverty of the poor is their ruin.
16 The wage of the righteous leads to life, the gain of the wicked to sin.
17 Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.
18 The one who conceals hatred has lying lips, and whoever utters slander is a fool.
19 When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.
20 The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the heart of the wicked is of little worth.
21 The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of sense.
22 The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
23 Doing wrong is like a joke to a fool, but wisdom is pleasure to a man of understanding.
24 What the wicked dreads will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted.
25 When the tempest passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous is established forever.
26 Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to those who send him.
27 The fear of the Lord prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be short.
28 The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.
29 The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the blameless, but destruction to evildoers.
30 The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not dwell in the land.
31 The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut off.
32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse.

Observation
Proverbs 10:24 What the wicked dreads will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted. This Word gives me hope, that those who follow the LORD and walk in righteousness, their desires, their hopes, their prayers will be granted. It is written in Jeremiah 17:9 that a man's heart is deceitful and desperately wicked, who can understand it??? This word gives me a lot of self doubt even as a follower of JESUS because I can never really be sure if what I am desiring is from GOD Himself or a selfish carnal desire from my own flesh.

Application
As I continue to abide in JESUS, HE makes my heart right, HE gives me a new heart with new desires because HE transforms me as I continue to delight in HIM, HE rebuilds me as I continue to walk with HIM, as I continue to grow in HIM - HE is making me new, giving me a new hear with new desires.

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

John 17:7
7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

Prayers
Dear AVI,
Wonderful and HOLY are YOU O GOD Almighty! Great is YOUR Name!!! FATHER, it has been 12 years of desiring a foreign husband but last year YOU suddenly changed the desires of my heart when YOU gave me a new word in Isaiah 43:18-19, YOU indeed have made everything new for me and I am willing to always change my dreams for YOU because YOU own me and I do not belong to myself anymore. But I still doubt my desires for Stephen, even though he is  a righteous man because I don't want to be wrong in desiring something YOU did not prepare for me. Even though I pray everyday that YOU will make Stephen YOUR Son because YOU have already chosen him to be YOUR Servant, I always guarding my heart by letting go of Stephen just in case YOU will not fulfill this desire of marrying him because I do want to cling to any man or promise, I only want to cling to YOU for YOU are my sure foundation my immovable rock, who never changes, YOU are and forever will be faithful and true and unto YOU belong all my desire, all my worship and utmost adoration.
But today since YOU have not removed these desires from me, I will continue to pray that YOU call and knock on the door of Stephen and Mom Benita, bring them to YOUR Kingdom, let them follow YOU on earth, let them be a blessing to me and to the people around them. Take care of them O GOD and preserve their hearts for me. Preserve Stephen do no let him fall in love or desire any other woman but me because YOU have implanted him deeply in my heart now O GOD implant me deeply in his because I don't want to love anyone who doesn't love me as much as YOU love me. Let him love me like YOU love me O GOD, help him to understand his role in my life. I will continue to pray each day for my in laws whom YOU know, that they will walk in the knowledge and fear of the HOLY GOD of Israel! To whom all glory and honor and praises belong to!
In the Name of YESHUA our GOD and KING, Amen!
