SOAP


Scriptures:

Psalm 139

English Standard Version

Search Me, O God, and Know My Heart

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

1 O Lord, you have searched me and known me!

2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.

3 You search out my path and my lying down    and are acquainted with all my ways.

4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.

7 Where shall I go from your Spirit?    Or where shall I flee from your presence?

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts![c]

24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting![d]



1 Thessalonians 5:23-28

English Standard Version

23 Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

24 He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.

25 Brothers, pray for us.

26 Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.

27 I put you under oath before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers.

28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.


Observation:

GOD knows us inside out, HE understands our thoughts and all our ways are known to HIM. King David because he loved GOD wanted GOD to be pleased with him, to search him even more deeply in his heart and mind, to be corrected if there is anything that might not be pleasing unto his GOD. It gives me such hope that in the New testament, GOD gives us the promise that when we continually rely on GOD like David, when we cling to HIM, hope in HIM, live to please HIM, GOD will do HIS part, HE will sanctify us completely, may our spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of the LORD because HE is faithful, HE knows we are powerless without HIM, HE will then do it for us.


Application:

My part is to abide in JESUS, to continually rely on HIM, seek HIM, put HIM first in my life and HE will straighten everything out for us. To abide is to cling to GOD, it is to get up early in the morning and pray first, read HIS word first, it is to make HIM the center of our life and attention, to always be listening to what HIS Spirit is telling us. It is to make HIS voice and HIS WORD, the last thing that echoes in our minds and spirits before we go to bed. If we do our part, if we abide in JESUS, HE will do HIS promise because HE is faithful. We may not be as faithful as HE is because of our weakness, but  when HE sees our efforts to cling to HIM, HE will do the rest for us, HE is so great, so good, so amazing so true. 


Prayers:

Dear AVI,

HOLY is YOUR Name O GOD! Great and glorious KING! I thank YOU KING JESUS because YOU are everything we need to live a life of victory in this world of troubles. I thank YOU for all YOUR precious and great Promises. I thank YOU for the opportunity to show my kindness and love to Raquel whom you took home too soon, whatever maybe the reason, I keep on trusting YOU. I pray for my parents, that YOU indeed enable them to live a holy and pure life before YOU. Enable us all because we cannot do it on our own. I pray for Stephen, Dominic and all those that have touched my life with their service, bless them, and enable them to live for YOU, to follow YOU, to walk in YOUR truth and to serve YOU because there is no other way to live an abundant life, a full life of meaning and purpose, it is only to live for YOU O GOD Almighty. O GOD you know all my needs, helpers, a space, a way for my dogs to give birth without much stress, I pity Cobea for giving birth fighting off other dogs but I pray that YOU keep her and Sunshine healthy, do not allow them to fight and I pray that YOU make a way for this house to care for 2 more mother dogs. I pray that YOU give owners to the dogs that need to be given away, good owners who will love them O GOD. Teach us to let go of the ones who are not meant for us. I pray O GOD for YOUR grace upon me each day and my family. Grant us YOUR grace O GOD. I pray that maclose najud ang TIN sa Cebu and transferred to Mandaue. I pray O GOD, have mercy on all of us always. Heal the sprain in my right hand. Heal us all O GOD and I pray for a successful and meaningful wedding of David and Kim this May 26, give me strength to entertain all the guests coming back to our home while taking care of my business and dogs. Please GOD take care of us all and that the Insurance from Pioneer will finally grant us the insured money from the Warehouse when Odette damaged our work place. Please open my parents hearts to ensure themselves for the sake of their children I don't know how but make a way for us all O GOD. Thank YOU so much for everything I love you and need YOU always in my life and I pray for my husband to come to me and marry me because YOU have chosen him to love me and take care of me. I pray that YOU bless him whoever he is and prepare us to build our family soon.

Event The Meeting in the afternoon Here and Now I feel disappointed over Stephen's reaction to our text message yesterday but I just set it aside because I have already decided to let him go as a future mate but not as our lawyer. I still expect him to perform his best as our lawyer. I had weird dreams last night, mostly about work but it's okay because in the first part of my dream I saw myself rescuing my parents from the power of evil. Event Get honey from Pier 1, Meeting with Jun @GPlace,  Here and Now I woke up really early at 4am even though I slept a little later but I feel good today and thankful because I was feeling my heart and I have no more pain for Stephen, I just accepted GOD's will and timing over my life, GOD has given me the grace to trust HIM.
